Our experience with DIMANOR Homes has been just spectacular!
Everyone at DIMANOR treated us royally and accommodated all of our requests with respect to plan alterations and options we wanted. We were invited to visit as construction proceeded allowing us to see where the mechanics run. All of our needs with respect to electrical connections, including a level 2 car charger in the garage were professionally done reflecting a very high attention to detail.
Further, DIMANOR provided an interior designer’s service to help with the decisions needed to customize the interior finishes. This service made choosing cabinetry and finishes much easier and eliminated much stress.
Everything we wanted and agreed to was fully installed and any post construction service that was required was completed properly and expediently.
We’ve been in our new home for two years and continue to be very pleased. Our home is well insulated and quiet and cozy regardless of outside weather and noise.
Family and friends who have visited have only spoken positively. One person captured it well when they exclaimed “it’s a hit out of the ballpark”!
My wife and I looked for a new home north of Toronto to be closer to our cottage. As retirees we wanted a home that would be low maintenance. Buying and living in our DIMANOR home has been a great experience from the first time we met with sales staff to a recent service call. The first step was a tour of a DIMANOR house under construction to show how they overbuild in certain areas. Spacing the floor joists closer together means that there will be no floor squeaks as time goes on. The sales staff worked closely with us on exactly what we wanted. Every detail was looked after. After moving in, any little issue was quickly taken care of. Realtors that we have talked to in the neighbourhood tell us that the quality build of a DIMANOR home allows them to sell it quickly and for a good price. We won’t be selling anytime soon!
DiManor provides the most consistent experience from, in every stage of the purchase and construction process.
From the beginning, our Sales Representative was highly engaged in answering our questions and providing the details we needed to feel comfortable in our purchase decision. Once we started choosing options, even the owners – Tony and Mike – got involved and explained many of the finer details of the construction process and the choices they make for building materials. It was so reassuring to see that these guys take tremendous pride in their craft – something that seems to be a rarity amongst home builders.
During the framing walk-through and the pre-delivery inspection, we really witnessed the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that went into building our home – placements of lights, outlets, vents, and conduits, as well as the energy efficient elements that are in the framing and the attic. Our visits to the construction site were always hosted by one of the owners, which again, was a testament to how proud they are of the work they do. We truly felt that it was their goal to build a house that we would absolutely love forever.
Once we took possession, the service didn’t stop there. As with all newly built homes, there are little things here and there that need to corrected. Our last home had a whole myriad of deficiencies and took over 9 months to get everything addressed. In speaking with lots of other homeowners over the years, I have learned that this can be a typical occurrence with some builders. In DiManor’s case, there were only a handful of minor issues and they were all addressed or scheduled to be corrected within the first couple of months after we moved in (they probably would’ve been completed sooner, but we had to reschedule a couple of times, due to inclement weather). It felt so good to be so well taken care of – especially when making such a large purchase such as this.
Neighbors and friends have since remarked at the quality of the build and the impressive “fit-and-finish” of the completed product. Even the guys that came in to install our security system, water softener, window blinds, etc. said that they were highly impressed with what they saw, even stating that they see lots of houses, but it’s rare to see one of this build quality and craftsmanship.
If we ever decide to build a new home again, we would totally do it with DiManor. We know we would be hard-pressed to find another builder that even comes close.
